100 Children sent to school

Education for underprivileged children
South Africa has defined a good target of free education to people in need to fight illiteracy in our society and improve people’s life. It is remarkable that families are moving from rural areas to cities, children born every day and the number of asylum seekers has increased. As result, our existing schools are challenged to welcome new learners due to their educational terms and conditions.
Those who are trying to help, register more children per class than requested! As result, those children do not receive a good assistance from their teachers and do not excel in main subjects. To respond to this crisis, Child of Africa has taken two major actions:
1. To open a primary school in Durban where local and refugee children benefit of good education.
2. Assisting children in rural areas, by providing school stationaries to give them access to learning program.
We are looking forward to extend our assistance and reduce the current level of illiteracy in our community. We cannot do it alone, come and partner with us.
